Dear Father,
I am making friend with a English student called Harry. He is a norseman and his father has a factry of wool in a cownty called Yorkshire. We are all ready good chumps and he lerns me English customs (I spell this right now.) On Saturday we went to the last night of the prams at Alberts Hall and he told me that we see English people there who let down their hairs (this is an other idium which means they loose their reserve.)
Albert as you know was the concert of Queen Victoria who rained for a sentry nearly and there is a statute of him. The people was wild father, with the funny hats and with the flags of Jacks union threw their arms which they uplifted. Their noises were terribel but when the band boss (he is the conductor like on the bus but he collects not the money) tap with a little stick, it became a big silence. You could hear a needle dropping (an other idium which means it was very quite.) Then there was a uprising like always when they play the nations anthem. It is with rispect to the queen when they ask Allah to send her victorias. These are the plums which she is wanting happy and glorius. I do not understand. We bought not a pogram becausey Harry said he knew the words by the heart. The players with their music implements looked like the pengwins at the zoo in their black and white suites. The lady singer weared a dress of red and blue and white and she looked like the flag. She sung 'Rule Britain Ear' and she made a big noise and she got a big packet of flowers and all the hands was clapping and she bowed the head. Again there was a uprising.
This is proud people and they sung that they never will be slaves and they rule the waves. Waves I think is the country they rule in the west and the people there speak English with the acsent like the Indians who they also ruled but now no more.
Your devoted son,
Iziz
